Warnings: Mild violence
The author has listened to our not-so-quiet please for a prequel story to Adventure and Adversities!!! This is the short story of the origins of Will and Eleanor and how they came to live in Delmore.
I really love when authors listen to the readers and Holman did just that. This is a short 38 page story to preface the series, letting us know the history of our favorite character William.
Character Development: 5/5
We really delve into what makes William, William in this book. We see what makes him the chivalrous knight that he is, why he ticks, and we see more of his walk with God.
Holman is continuous in her flow from one book to the other and I really appreciate that.
This was a great prequel to the series and didn’t feel thrown together at all.
What I Loved:
I love knowing details. I am a detail oriented person and I love when authors decide to reveal details of characters, or plot lines, etc. So I really enjoyed this.
What I Didn’t Love:
Once again, I’d always love a longer story. Longer is always better! Longer = more details!
If you would like to read this story for yourself, you can find it on Amazon.
About the Author:
Sarah Holman is a not so typical mid-twenties girl: A homeschool graduate, sister to six awesome siblings. If there is anything adventuresome about her life, it is because she serves a God with a destiny bigger than anything she could have imagined.
