Warnings: Death, Violence, Murder, War
Now in the third book of the Ilyon Chronicles, we are watching war unfold in front of the Resistances’ eyes. Samara is in danger and it’s up to the Resistance to warn them.
I am definitely getting into these books more and more as I read them and do plan to get autographed paper copies when I have the $$. These are definitely an intriguing and wonderful series. So if you’re looking for in depth, adventure and Christian plot then this series is for you.
Character Development 5/5
I think we see the most in depth character development in this book because of the series of events that unfold. I’m currently having a really hard time writing this without giving away tips but I really really really enjoyed this book. #hint #shippit
I enjoyed the writing style more this time than I did the previous two books not because it was written differently or anything, but because I understand more of what’s going on and am more into the series.
War is impending, and there is a Savior in Samara. I liked the plot for the most part but felt that the Savior part was oddly spaced out in the plot’s timeline, it didn’t make sense to me and seemed a bit thrown in there, but I hope to see this play out more and explain itself in coming books.
What I Loved:
I really loved this novel overall, and look forward to reading more and omgosh not giving away spoilers is so hard! Ahhhhh!!
What I Didn’t Love:
As I had said before, the one part in the plot confused me with it’s timeline and quick end but other than that I really enjoyed this book.
