One of the things about being a minimalist, or just wanting to be organized is to understand what causes clutter…and one major thing that causes clutter is having way too many clothes. So for me, it’s important to keep all of my clothes as minimalist as possible. So I’ve come up with four different lists for all four seasons on what you should have in your closet.
I personally purge my clothing every 3 months or so. Between shopping sprees at the local thrift store, Christmas, and birthdays I get a lot of clothing and by going through it every 3 months or so, it keeps my closet a little bit neater. Although I will say that purging my closet every 3 months makes me feel like I’m in a bit of a revolving door, but it does keep clutter at bay.
Without further adieu, here are my modest winter must have for women:
Winter Must Haves:
- 15 pairs of underwear
- 4 bras
- 10 pair of knee length
- 4 pair of fleece-lined leggings
- 6 long sleeve shirts
- 2 shirt extenders
- 4 flannel shirts
- 2 pairs of flannel pajamas
- 3 long skirts
- 1 wool skirt
- 2 heavy sweatshirts
- 3 sweaters
- 1 winter coat-nice
- 1 heavy work coat
- 1 pair of snow boots
- 2 pairs of cute boots
