With autumn just around the corner, I wanted to prepare for the colder months by sharing ways to serve your family (and yourself) with filling, comforting and easy to make meals. So today, I am doing my first round-up post for slow cooker recipes! I sincerely hope you enjoy it!
When I first got my crock pot as a wedding gift, I knew that I absolutely needed one. (I mean who doesn’t right?!) But I really had no idea what to do with it or how to use it properly. It was just kind of a shiny new object that sat on my kitchen counter along with all of the other new gadgets I didn’t know how to use. But as a new wife, with a new found hatred of making dinner from scratch each night (and then doing the dishes) I learned quickly how to use my slow cooker. And boy did I fall in love!
Being a homemaker doesn’t always mean you have to do things the old fashioned way, or to spend more time cleaning and cooking than with your family. Homemaking is a balance of both. Being able to give your family the time they need while still meeting their needs. With a crock pot, you can easily have the balance of the home cooked, clean meals without the hassle and mess of a traditional way of cooking.
So if you are looking for a sanity saver (as I was), then I know you’re going to love these recipes!
